Your memories
CortexMind stores your memories in a database on your computer. The application never uploads them. There is no server that receives, stores or reads memory content, and nobody but you can access the database on your machine.
What the app sends
The app sends your license key to Polar, our merchant of record, about once an hour, to confirm the subscription is active. The auto-updater fetches a small manifest from GitHub to learn whether a new version exists. Neither request carries memory content.
The hosted tunnel
If you turn on the hosted tunnel, requests from hosted agents such as claude.ai pass through a relay operated for CortexMind on their way to your machine, over HTTPS. The relay routes traffic; it does not store memories. Turn the tunnel off and nothing passes through it.
Purchases
Checkout, payment, invoices and the customer portal are run by Polar. Polar collects your email address and payment details under its own privacy policy. We see your email address and the status of your subscription, nothing about your card.
This website
cortexmind.net is served by Cloudflare Pages. It sets no analytics cookies and runs no tracking scripts. Your theme and language choices are kept in your browser only.
