The license
A CortexMind subscription grants you a license to install and use the software on one machine at a time, for personal or commercial use, for as long as the subscription is active. The license key identifies your subscription; keep it private.
Billing
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Polar, our merchant of record, monthly or yearly, in US dollars. The monthly plan starts with a 14-day free trial; a card is required and nothing is charged before the trial ends. Cancel at any time from your customer portal. Cancelling stops future charges and the software keeps working until the end of the paid period.
Refunds
The trial exists so you can decide before paying. If something went wrong with a charge, write to [email protected] within 14 days and we will sort it out.
Your data
Your memories are yours. They are stored on your machine and never transferred to us. You are responsible for backing them up.
Acceptable use
Do not share license keys, resell access, or use the hosted tunnel for anything other than reaching your own CortexMind instance.
No warranty
CortexMind is provided as is. The author does not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada.
